1947
Creation of « Papeterie du Poitou Ltd. » by the Porcheron family, near Poitiers in Western France. The company is specialized in selling and trading food packaging solutions for butchery shops.
1962
Papeterie du Poitou launches its own production of food wrapping paper, still dedicated to butchery shops.
1965
Papeterie du Poitou innovates and starts to print giftwrap paper. The designs are printed in Flexo.
1975
The company grows more and more, industrializes its production process and invests in its first gravura printing machines.
1981
Papeterie du Poitou is recognized in France and starts to sell abroad.
1989
The company expands from 6,500sqm to 8,000sqm and employs 55 people.
1996
Due to its exponential growth, the company needs to relocate into a 20000sqm plant, in Beaumont, north of Poitiers.
2003
The family business changes owner and becomes “Beaumont Group – Papeterie du Poitou”
Today
Beaumont Group – Papeterie du Poitou employs 70 people and keeps working hard to meet the expectations of its market and the satisfaction of all its customers.
